Soil:

How to take care of jacaranda?
Watering:
if it does not like stagnant water, the soil in which the jacaranda grows must remain very cool in summer.
If it grows in the ground, water it every week and mulch its base to prevent the water from evaporating.
In pots, increase the watering frequency to twice a week.
In winter, water it every two weeks if placed indoors or if there is no rain.
Pruning:
It is not necessary to prune the jacaranda.
Simply remove any dead branches as you notice their presence.
Diseases:
Jacaranda can be targeted by whiteflies and spider mites, especially if it grows indoors.
Observe the jacaranda regularly to act as quickly as possible in the event of an invasion.
To get rid of it, spray its foliage with soapy water.

Does jacaranda grow in France?
The jacaranda is a subtropical tree that can grow in France but only in regions with a
particularly mild climate
such as Corsica or the Mediterranean rim.
If it is not where you live, it is best to plant it in a pot to shelter it in a veranda for example when the temperatures start to drop.
