Now a double standard discussion is raging again about an activist's alleged vacation trip.
He is said to be on a cruise and skipped a court date.

newspaper , a 54-year-old climate activist is said
to have missed a court date in the Hanover district court because he was said to have been on a cruise from Kiel to Oslo at the time (February 12th to 16th).
However, on Thursday (February 15th) his trial for damage to property and trespassing took place at the Hanover District Court.
Instead of attending his court hearing, a climate activist vacationed on a cruise.

A press spokeswoman explained that the defendant “did not appear at yesterday's appointment and justified his absence by saying he was on vacation.”
She could not confirm whether it was a cruise.

The proceedings are discontinued for the time being.
