The fire brigade in Naples (Italy) has been on duty since five o'clock in the morning, writes the
Vigili del Fuoco
on platform X. The road surface has therefore sunk in the Vomero district.
Two drivers were rescued by passers-by.
Army soldiers who were traveling in the area pulled the inmates out of the hole in the ground, reports the Italian news agency

Videos of the spectacular rescue operation are circulating on social media.
It shows soldiers climbing down into the hole in the ground to open the doors of a car so that those trapped can get out.
It looks spooky.
The headlights of the two white cars glow in the dark, and the taillights are also still on.
Water appears to be shooting from a pipe onto the back of a car.
