The Flying Squads of Palermo and Trapani and the personnel of the Central Operational Service of the police, delegated by the DDA of the capital coordinated by the prosecutor Maurizio de Lucia, carried out a decree arresting 12 people - 6 Italians and 6 Tunisians - accused of association for crimes aimed at aiding and abetting illegal immigration.
They would be part of a criminal organization with cells present in both Tunisia and Italy, which managed migrant trafficking between the North African country and the Marsala coast.
The association organized trips on luxury dinghies with large displacement engines.
