Rebecca Reusch, then 15 years old, has been missing since 2019.
But there is still no trace.

The girl has been missing for four years and has not been found alive or dead since then.
Rebecca would now be 19 years old.
On the night of February 18th, she stayed overnight with her sister Jessica and her husband.
There is the girl's last sign of life.

From that moment on, numerous searches followed, including on the way to school, in used clothing containers, in several areas of the forest, and in several other places in the surrounding area.
The search was called off for the first time on April 13, almost two months after the disappearance.
However, this was followed again and again by new searches.

In 2020, the public prosecutor's office expressed its suspicions to the dpa: “We continue to assume that Rebecca did not leave her brother-in-law's house alive.
After the investigation, we can rule out all alternative events (...).
There is no evidence at all that people would leave their home environment voluntarily,” reports Merkur.de.
The man was alone in the house with Rebecca.
According to the Berliner Morgenpost, this results in telephone data and data from the router in the house.
The missing woman's brother-in-law is arrested twice.
But the evidence is not enough.
Meanwhile, the family of the missing young woman is certain that the suspect is innocent.

According to RTL, the car was recorded by a camera on the A12 between Berlin and Frankfurt an der Oder on the morning of the disappearance and in the evening.
At that time, only the brother-in-law had access to the car.
His statements about the destination of the trips contradict each other and do not coincide with the movement data of the car.
The father of the missing person commented on this in an interview with RTL.
The unexplained trips were related to something else, but he was not allowed to say anything about it.
Hair and fibers from a missing blanket that the girl had with her were also found in the car.
However, it later turned out that the hair does not belong to Rebecca, as the Berliner Morgenpost reports.
On top of that, a Renault Twingo, similar to the suspect's, is said to have been in a Brandenburg forest on the day of the disappearance.
This caused a large search operation in the Brandenburg forests, but in vain.

9 / 11 Another theory about the girl's disappearance has to do with the band BTS, as the mother Brigitte Reusch explains to RTL.
Because the young woman was a big fan of the band.
The day of the disappearance was the birthday of one of the band members.
Additionally, the color of the K-pop group is purple.
Rebecca had a purple fleece blanket with her when she disappeared.
So it could be that the girl wanted to take a photo of herself against a purple background before school.

The whereabouts of the young woman remain unclear, although there are many different theories and speculations.
However, the family of the missing person is still full of hope that Rebecca will be found alive again.

When she didn't show up after visiting her sister and her husband on February 18, 2019, the case hit the media.
Since then, all of Germany has known the teenager's story.
But to this day their fate is uncertain.
The focus of the investigation: after a short time, the brother-in-law of the missing person.
But many other theories exist surrounding the case.
However, none has been proven so far.
To this day, the girl's mother has not given up hope.
She still hopes her daughter could still be alive.
