The Kochler mountain rescue service took care of the patient's initial care.

While descending the Jochberg, a 22-year-old woman from Munich collapsed and was no longer able to continue walking.
The rescue was complicated due to the twilight.

- Because a young hiker twisted her ankle while descending the Jochberg and was no longer able to climb down herself, the Kochler mountain rescue service was deployed late on Friday afternoon around 5:15 p.m.
The mountain rescue service announced this on its Instagram channel.
Challenging rescue due to nightfall
The approaching darkness was a challenge for both the volunteer rescuers and the helicopter crew who were alerted.
As the head of the Kochler mountain rescue service, Toni Geiger, reported when asked, the rescue helicopter “Christoph Murnau” had to turn around again due to the twilight and the location being difficult to reach.
“He could no longer winch at the scene.” In a further approach, three mountain rescuers were dropped off by the helicopter at the “Jocheralm”.
“From here they had about a 20-minute walk with the first aid equipment to the patient – a 22-year-old from the Munich area.

Jochberg: 22-year-old can no longer descend independently after injury
While the young woman was receiving initial care on the mountain, a helicopter capable of flying at night was already on its way to pull the patient on board with a cable winch and take her to a hospital for further treatment.
The mountain rescue team led the woman's companions safely back to the valley, according to the Instagram post.
A total of ten Kochler mountain rescuers were on duty for around four hours.
