“We are launching the eco-airport.
» Augustin de Romanet, CEO of Groupe ADP, is not afraid of words when he describes the development plan for Paris-Orly airport (Val-de-Marne) by 2035. He and his teams in presented the details on Wednesday, which will be submitted for comment to the public and local stakeholders from Monday February 26 to Tuesday May 21.
Access to Orly for travelers and employees will change radically.
“We are going to move the car away from the airport,” summarizes Augustin de Romanet.
For example, no more drop-offs in front of the terminals.
Four parking lots and drop-off areas will be created “approximately 1 or 1.5 km away”, for individuals such as taxis, VTCs and the 25,000 employees of the platform.
“Clean” shuttles, managed by the airport, will provide connections to the terminals and activity zones.
They could travel on a dedicated route, which would allow travel time to be controlled.
