The best time to lay natural grass is

in spring or fall,

when temperatures are moderate and humidity is sufficient to promote rooting.

  • The first step is to prepare the land, weed, level the soil and enrich with organic amendments;

  • Then, unroll the rolls on the floor and carefully align the edges

    , avoiding overlapping;

  • Trim at ends and if necessary to fit contours.

    It will then be necessary to pass a lawn roller over the entire surface to eliminate air pockets and ensure good contact between the grass and the earth;

  • Finish with generous watering, to be renewed regularly in dry weather to encourage rooting.

  • Although synthetic turf can be installed at any time of the year, it is still necessary to prevent the ground from

    being frozen or too wet:

  • Prepare a solid, level base by removing stones and roots.

    It is also possible to lay a geotextile fabric beforehand;

  • Unroll the synthetic turf, align and adjust the strips.

    For large surfaces, the junction between the strips requires the application of glued joint strips.

    For outdoor open grass, you must secure the edges with nails or staples then add sand to keep the strands straight.
