Geltendorf - On the night of Sunday, February 18, to Monday, a Munich Federal Police patrol arrested a graffiti sprayer who was spraying a parked S-Bahn at Geltendorf train station.

The man initially fled, but was caught in a nearby forest.

According to the Federal Police, Deutsche Bahn Security employees observed the 38-year-old Pole spraying an area of ​​around eleven square meters on an S-Bahn at around 11:30 p.m.

The witnesses alerted the federal police.

After the crime, the man fled into an adjacent forest, where he was arrested without resistance after being chased by the emergency services.

In order to find the suspect, a police helicopter from the Oberschleissheim Aviation Squadron was used.

With the help of the surveillance images from the air, various spray cans that the persecuted person had thrown away in the forest were seized as evidence.

The Pole, who lives in the Landsberg district, was taken to the federal police station at Munich Central Station for further processing, from which he was released on Monday morning.

The amount of damage amounts to around 600 euros.
