Eduardo "Lule" Menem
as undersecretary of Institutional Management of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, headed by Karina Milei, and of former senator Federico Pinedo (PRO) as head of the newly created Temporary Special Execution Unit "G20 Unit."

officially landed in Javier Milei's government after having been appointed, by Decree 165/2025, to the position of
Undersecretary of Institutional Management
of the General Secretariat of the Presidency.
"Lule" Menem, the main "ad honorem" advisor to his cousin Martín in the Lower House, maintains a very low profile and operates as an all-terrain operator.
Since the appointment of his cousin as head of the Lower House, the Riojan has been essential in making the young deputy aware of the legislative framework but also in making "private negotiations" with his own and opposition leaders.
The brand new Undersecretary of Institutional Management built his relationship with Milei almost three years ago, when together with Martín Menem they were the first leaders who formed La Libertad Avanza in the interior, in this case in La Rioja.
Although both have resided in the City of Buenos Aires for decades, they made the historical surname weigh in the Andean province to give an institutional scaffolding to the presidential dream of the loquacious economist.
"Lule" achieved the favor of Karina Milei for having been one of the main promoters of the libertarian army in the northern province.
In 2021, he collaborated in the election in which her cousin was anointed as a provincial legislator and, last year, he was the architect of his frustrated candidacy for Rioja governor.

Through Resolution 75/2024 signed by Chancellor Diana Mondino, the creation of the
Temporary Special Executive Unit "G20 Unit" was made official,
within the scope of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, in which
Federico Pinedo
was appointed
as Argentina's representative to the Group of 20.
He is one of the "hawks" of the yellow party who had been "the shadow chancellor" of Patricia Bullrich's presidential project.
In this way, Pinedo will be Milei's "sherpa" with the objective of coordinating all the action in Argentina in that exclusive world forum that this year will take place in Brazil.
Between November 18 and 19, the long-awaited summit of presidents will take place, just as it happened in 2018 in Buenos Aires, on that occasion in an edition organized by the Macri government.
The standard specifies that the functions of the Unit will be "inter-ministerial coordination of the participation of the different State agencies in the forums and working groups that make up the thematic agenda of the G20" as well as understanding the "preparation, evaluation and execution, in coordination with the competent agencies of the national State, of the foreign policy objectives related to the G20 Sherpa Channel."
It will also have the objective of "projecting travel and visit calendars; holding national, bilateral coordination meetings and within the framework of working groups, affinity groups, and topics that make up the agenda."
Among other functions, it must "coordinate the implementation of plans, programs and actions, and the courses of action required in each case, with the other areas with powers linked to the subject of the Chancellery and the bodies of the National Public Administration as well as prepare reports".
