Sometimes there are phone calls you don't expect to receive.
Jérémy Decerle experienced this at the beginning of March 2019. A few months after his re-election as head of the Young Farmers union, his phone rang.
At the other end of the phone, the Minister of Agriculture Didier Guillaume asked him to meet.
Curious, Jérémy Decerle goes to Paris, heading to the ministry.

Very quickly, Didier Guillaume asked me if I was interested in joining the majority list for the 2019 European elections. I was not at all prepared for this request, it was around March 10, the list was announced on the 25th.
” Still very hesitant, he requested a meeting with Emmanuel Macron

of him.
