A man engages an 80-year-old woman from Taufkirchen in a conversation.
In the meantime, a second perpetrator robs the unsuspecting woman.
Taufkirchen - A woman over 80 years old living in Munich received a call from an unknown person on Tuesday, February 20th.
The man said he knew her as a supposedly loyal customer of his carpet cleaning company.
He wanted to bring her a gift.
The woman later reported this to the police.
She willingly gave him her address.
On the same day, around 4 p.m., the doorbell rang and the man who had previously been announced by telephone was standing in front of the apartment door with a bouquet of flowers.
The woman invited the gentleman into her living room, where they talked for a while.
After the conversation, the 80-year-old woman wanted to accompany the man to the apartment door.
Suddenly she noticed a second man in the hallway.
Both immediately fled the apartment.
Shortly afterwards, the woman discovered that her handbag was gone - and with it all of her identification documents, various cards, her mobile phone and several hundred euros in cash.
Jewelry is also missing.
She immediately dialed the police emergency number.
Witnesses wanted on Münchner Strasse and Ritter-Hilprand-Strasse
The search that was launched immediately has not yet yielded any new clues about the perpetrators.
The police are still investigating and are asking for help from the public.
Who saw the perpetrators in the area of Münchner Straße and Ritter-Hilprand-Straße in Taufkirchen during the specified period?
Witnesses should contact Munich Police Headquarters, Commissariat 55, Tel. 089/2910-0, or any other police station.
The first perpetrator is a man around 30 years old, 175 centimeters tall, has an athletic build and speaks with a foreign accent.
He has no beard, no glasses and no tattoos.
His appearance is Eastern European and he is dressed in dark clothing.
The second male perpetrator is 25 years old, 180 centimeters tall, has a thin build and wears brown and beige clothing.

The criminal police warn older people in particular not to let alleged carpet sellers or other unknown people into their homes.
The perpetrators often call in advance and then suddenly show up at the apartment door.
The fraudsters distract the residents with a conversation while a second person sneaks into the apartment.
He steals cash and valuables unnoticed.
