Faced with the difficulties encountered by the investigation, the Yvelines gendarmerie is launching a call for witnesses this Wednesday concerning the death of a 37-year-old man from Moldova.
His body was found around 6:40 a.m., Monday morning, on the edge of the N12 in Méré, between the Montfort and Villiers-Saint-Frédéric exits towards Paris, where traffic was then cut for a good part of the day.
A mysterious death
Although criminal identification technicians were dispatched to the scene, the condition of the corpse, "in stiff corpse condition" according to the gendarmerie, does not currently make it possible to establish the circumstances of the death.
The Montfort-l'Amaury brigade, in charge of the investigations, also has no information on the car that allegedly hit him.
The investigation is currently favoring the accidental route.
Anyone likely to advance the investigation can contact the gendarmerie on 0800 87 22 03.
