On Saturday evening (February 24, 2024) Giovanni Zarrella presents Roland Kaiser's anniversary show.
The guest list is correspondingly high-profile: But the name of a pop star causes confusion.
Offenburg – The “Giovanni Zarrella Show” on February 24, 2024 has a very special motto: “Giovanni Zarrella presents: 50 years of Roland Kaiser”.
Since the hit show was recorded in December and photos have appeared on the internet every now and then, the guest list is no longer a secret.
However, one guest raises questions as she has long since left the stage.

When Roland Kaiser (71) celebrates his stage anniversary, the who's who of German hits will of course celebrate with him.
“The focus is on the emperor’s life’s work: hits from five decades of music history, which are presented in new live arrangements and exclusive duets,” ZDF promises its TV viewers in a press release.
On stage are, among others, Beatrice Egli (35), Kerstin Ott (42), Melissa Naschenweng (33), Semino Rossi (61), Thomas Anders (60), Nino de Angelo (60), Kim Fisher (54), Maite Kelly (44), Bülent Ceylan (48) and Mary Roos (75).
The latter is likely to raise some questions among attentive fans, as she announced her retirement in February 2019 and actually went into retirement in January 2020, which is surprisingly small, as Mary Roos herself reveals.
Mary Roos said goodbye to the stage at Florian Silbereisen’s “Schlagerchampions” (42): “I think when it’s at its best, you should stop.”

The only question that remains is whether she will also sing.
At least it wouldn't be the first Mary Roos comeback.
After the birth of her son in 1986, the pop singer took a break from her career.
After five years she returned to the stage and released her comeback album “Everything I Want” in 1992.
