After a first treatment in 1988, then a second in 1992, Daniel plunged back into alcohol a few years later.
“I started with a glass of champagne.
I thought it would be fine, but the body doesn't forget.
The next day, I bought myself some alcohol.

» In 2010, he decided to start withdrawal again, in the addiction department of the Compiègne hospital center (Oise).
Three weeks during which he is cut off from the outside world, drinking a lot of “sugar water” to avoid any dehydration and consuming medicinal substitutes.
“A lot of people believe that you can stop like that, overnight, that it's in your head, but it's an illness, it's very hard physically.
