On this basis, Rémi Lacombe decided to attack his traders, based on the Egalim law, on the grounds that they had bought his wine in bulk at the excessively low price of 1,200 euros per barrel.
The winegrower won his case before the Bordeaux commercial court this Thursday.
In a single decision, which must set a precedent, the Ginestet and Cordier trading houses are therefore jointly ordered to pay him nearly 355,000 euros in damages.
