Acea obtained the "A-" rating in the Carbon disclosure project classification, improving last year's "B" rating in the CDP-Climate Questionnaire.
Acea is positioned in the "Leadership" segment with the companies most committed to the fight against climate change, in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
In particular, maximum marks were obtained in the areas of governance, targets, climate risk management and disclosure of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
The upgrade by CDP and the recent commitment in defining the targets for reducing CO2 emissions "according to science", validated in September 2023 by Sbti, explains a note "represent important recognition of Acea's continuous commitment in the fight against climate change".
