Avi Selma wants to replace Miriam Fierberg after 25 years in office and head the city of Netanya.
After years of serving as a member of the Netanya City Council, he held a long series of public positions, including serving as chairman of the board of directors of the Netanya City Development Company, in charge of the municipal financial administration, and more.
In his professional cap, Selma managed two large banks in Israel and he was later appointed CEO of a representative office of an international bank in Israel.
