It happened in Biella, as documented today by a local TV station and as it was taken up by the PD deputies who published a fragment of the speech in the chamber by a League councilor, Alessio Ercoli, who attacks the dem group leader for her absence .
Marta Bruschi, president of the Pd group and a few days ago candidate for mayor of Biella for the centre-left in the June local elections, is absent "for family reasons".
A decision that Northern League member Ercoli does not like: "I see - he says in his speech in the chamber - that there is an important absence among the minority benches. With two resolutions to go, the new PD group leader and mayoral candidate has left. He's not just any councillor, it's 9.30 in the evening, this shows an excellent interest - he jokes - in politics.
