A 12-year-old boy, Andrea Vincenzi, died late yesterday evening at the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin, where he arrived in cardiac arrest.
In the previous hours, according to what was reconstructed after his death, he had been visited in the emergency room of the Chivasso hospital (Turin) for suspected pneumonia and subsequently discharged.
However, his condition quickly worsened.
An investigation will probably be opened into the case.
In the meantime, the Regina Margherita doctors have arranged for the necropsy examination of the body.
A footballer for the rookies of the Usd Gassino-San Raffaele club, the twelve-year-old lived in Castiglione Torinese with his family.
