A fox got into the pool of a property in Pullach.
The owner asked the fire department in the equipment house for help.
She arrived in time to fish out the wild animal alive and somewhat hypothermic.
Pullach
- At the fire station in Pullach, a homeowner asked for help around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A fox got into his swimming pool in the garden, which was only filled to knee height.
He wasn't able to save the animal on his own.
It must have been trapped there for a long time, but it was still alive.
So the fire department followed him with three men.
The fox was freed from its situation using a cashier.
Fuchs was initially in a panic
He was probably a little panicked, but in the end he was very happy that he was rescued by the fire department, as Commander Thomas Maranelli reports.
He first came to the tool shed in a transport box.
After consulting with a wildlife expert, the emergency services released the uninjured fox back into the wild after a short warm-up phase.
Thomas Maranelli: “He was obviously happy to regain land quickly.” Every now and then, the Pullach fire department rescues foxes from awkward situations.
For example from cellar shafts.
What strikes the commander personally: It can be observed that the foxes are seeking proximity to people and are becoming less and less shy.
However, there was no increase in operations.
