Edison Next, a company of the Edison group that accompanies customers and territories on their path to decarbonisation and ecological transition, and Sea, Airports of Milan, announce the development of a green hydrogen refueling station within the international airport of Milan Malpensa for the decarbonisation of airport logistics.


    The plant is expected to enter service between December 2025 and February 2026, in order to be operational for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will take place from 6 to 22 February 2026.


    The green hydrogen refueling station of the Malpensa H2 project it will extend over an area of ​​approximately 12,000 square meters and will host both cutting-edge technologies and equipment for the production and supply of green hydrogen, as well as spaces for services intended for the public.

The system will be able to deliver at double pressure, 350 and 700 bar, in order to serve all types of vehicles present in the Malpensa Cargo City area.
