Luis Caputo
rejected this Wednesday the possibility that
Mauricio Macri
- and the troop of PRO leaders who could accompany him - formally join the Government of Javier Milei because he considered that
"there has to be only one head"
in the Executive.
However, he promoted the rapprochement of political forces in Congress, where he saw a viable agreement because the two leaders "think alike."
"At the Congress level it is natural because we think alike.
At the Executive level there does not have to be
(an alliance)
because there has to be only one head
," stated the Minister of Economy on the TN signal.
The statement is not minor if one takes into account that he is one of the first libertarian bishops to
set the limit on an agreement with the PRO
and that the Minister of Economy was part of the former president's cabinet.
However, Caputo said that he has a "very good relationship" with Mauricio
Macri
, although
he had no influence in his appointment
to the Ministry of Economy.
"I became a minister for the President, I have a very good relationship with Macri and I met him in public office.
It was Milei who convinced me
and my wife who left me," he said.
It is known that the minister has a filial bond with Santiago Caputo, presidential advisor and one of Javier Milei's most trusted cadres.
