And for good reason, the president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, soon to be 65 years old, will undergo surgery.
The regional leader of Renaissance made the announcement himself on his social networks, posting a photo of himself in the hospital.

Already on hiatus in 2022

In 2022, the president of the region had already been forced to temporarily withdraw from Provençal political life due to a fall while cycling which left him with several broken ribs.
