corpse
was found in the 16th arrondissement of Marseille.
The body, discovered
“lying on its back”
, was discovered by a walker who was walking not far from the Lafarge company quarries, which are located in the northern districts of the Marseille city.

by the Marseille prosecutor's office, this corpse is that of a young man aged 19 and
"known to the justice services"

Second case in two weeks
The investigation opened by the Marseille public prosecutor's office and entrusted to the Bouches-du-Rhône interdepartmental judicial police service (SIPJ) continues after this identification.
The victim would likely have no
“obvious link”
with a drug trafficking network, as indicated by

Two weeks before this discovery, another
“completely charred”
body was also found by a passer-by in Marseille, this time at Parc Corot (13th arrondissement).
The autopsy of the remains confirmed that it belonged to a woman who had been strangled.
A blatant investigation into the
“assassination”
charge had been opened by the Marseille prosecutor's office and had also been entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS).
