A police investigation is underway for acts of school harassment, potentially of an anti-Semitic nature, which occurred in a high school in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes) by two individuals in particular,

“It would make it possible to determine the possible offenses that could be taken into account
,” the Grasse public prosecutor tells us.
Investigations have been carried out by police officers from the Antibes police station since last week following a complaint filed by the family of the high school student concerned.
Contacted, the Nice rectorate confirms
“proven cyberharassment”
but at this stage rules out the anti-Semitic aspect of the verbal and physical attacks against the 16-year-old teenager, educated at the Jacques-Dolle vocational high school in Antibes.

, the mother of this student nevertheless recounted facts that were disturbing to say the least and which date back to the month of October.
She mentions a
“dirty Jew”
and a Nazi salute, in addition to a WhatsApp group in which her son
“is threatened with mortar blows
,” she said.

Questioned on the set of BFM Nice Côte d'Azur, Hafid Adnani, delegate for the fight against school bullying in the Nice academy, confirmed
"anti-Semitic remarks in this class"
but which, according to the various feedback given to him received,
“did not concern the student in question”

“We cannot accept such facts, they are unacceptable attacks
,” he insisted on behalf of the rector, Natacha Chicot.
The Nice rectorate further indicates that the student victim of this situation is being monitored by the unit dedicated to harassment and its prevention but also that a disciplinary council is scheduled for March 11.
This case of school harassment echoes another in a vocational high school near Nice.
Here too, parents recently spoke in the local media
of “an ordeal”
experienced by their 15-year-old son.
There too, a complaint was filed.
