An evidentiary hearing by the lawyer of the kindergarteners accused of abuse, Orli Davidovich and her daughter Daniel Leibovich, began this morning (Thursday) at the Central District Court in Lod.
This, two years after the kindergarten teachers were accused of abusing and assaulting 14 helpless toddlers while they were running the "Loli of Orly" nursery school in Petah Tikva.
Recently, the indictment filed by Attorney Tali Kerat from the Central District Attorney's Office was amended, and criminal articles of mental abuse of two more toddlers were added to it.
"It was a feeling of victory after a year and a half of fighting for it.
The fact that she was included in the indictment is an acknowledgment of what she went through," shared Walla Lior Efroni, whose abuse of her little daughter was added to the indictment. "My daughter has fears of noises, she has all kinds of issues with food because she was not fed in kindergarten.
She also doesn't trust people.
When the kindergarten teacher in the new kindergarten raises her voice, she immediately freezes."
Additional offenses were added to the indictment.

"When my daughter came back from kindergarten last week, she told me that when she hears a noise, she goes under the table," shared Shelley and Kanin, whose 4-year-old daughter was mentally abused in kindergarten.
Vakinin pointed out that it is important for them as parents to attend every discussion where they can see the kindergarteners with their own eyes, despite the great difficulty.
"It is important for us to make sure that the law is meted out and not missed," she said.
"Obviously it's exciting, stressful and overwhelming, but the goal is more important - to deter other gardeners. The more exposure it has, people will understand what will happen to them if they do it too, and then the phenomenon will decrease."
