Contrary to what was initially thought, the next FFB show with a new organizer will not take place until 2025.
It will take place for the first time in spring.
There are certain hopes associated with this.
Olching - Interest in the FFB show as a regional trade fair is still high, according to a message from the Bruck district office on Thursday.
Organizers and partners have already received many inquiries after it became known that the trade fair would restart after the Corona period.
For the first time in many years, the FFB show will start as a spring trade fair in May 2025.
Experienced trade fair organizer
Those responsible have recruited Mattfeldt & Singer Marketing and Messe AG as the new trade fair organizer.
The service provider supplements successful elements of the FFB show with proven trade fair components from other consumer trade fairs, according to the statement.
Mattfeldt & Singer Marketing and Messe AG organizes over 60 trade fairs every year at locations throughout southern Germany.
For example, the Isar-Loisach trade exhibition (“Iloga”) in Wolfratshausen or the “MIR” in Kaufbeuren.
This means that the long-time trade fair professional has knowledge of current topics, trends and proven offers that visitors currently find interesting, according to the district office.
“We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found such a competent partner in Mattfeldt and Singer for the FFB show and are looking forward to spring 2025 with excitement and anticipation,” said District Administrator Thomas Karmasin.
Three days
The trade fair in Olching at the Volksfestplatz will take place from May 16th to 18th, 2025 - over three days.
Because the FFB show is becoming a spring trade fair, different general conditions are expected than before due to the warmer temperatures.
“This means that new ideas are also worth considering: an open-air beer garden, open catering tents, lounge areas or a larger outdoor exhibition area,” says the district office.
The inclusion of new key topics is also possible in a spring concept.
“I am very pleased that the restart of our popular FFB show will take place in spring 2025 and that we will once again prove that our city and our district are an attractive business location.
The FFB show as a family fair will provide important impetus for further positive economic development locally,” says Olching’s mayor Andreas Magg.
Lead time
So that the exhibiting companies have enough time for innovative planning, a preparation period of over a year makes sense for a successful restart, according to the district office's announcement.
Initially it was planned to hold the trade fair in autumn 2024.
According to current feedback, a lead time of 9 months is not enough for many companies and institutions.
A large number of budget plans have already been approved and budgets have already been allocated elsewhere.
