This Wednesday, Manuel Adorni
made a
strong defense of Javier Milei's management
and specifically referred to the
"chainsaw"
, a figure used by the President to graph the cut in public spending.
The presidential spokesperson assured that this is “a style of government” from which they will not deviate.
“There will be chainsaws today and in 4 years
,” he warned.
“
It is irrational
that there is a single peso that is spent on something that is being paid by someone who probably has a hard time getting to the end of the day.
Not to mention acts of corruption and everything that was happening in social plans,” he stated in statements made to
LN+
.
Then he ratified the position: “As long as we are in government,
the chainsaw will always be there
, until we finish cutting the last expense that people do not deserve to pay with their taxes.”
In that same direction, he also fired against “the blender” that “has been the machinery of populism.”
Adorni spoke about the end of a Wednesday where the national train strike took much of the attention.
“The image is very sad because the strike was not done to the government, it was done to the people,” he stated.
“People want to work in Argentina and also
people understand that they get out of it by working
.
Why do you think you see those endless lines of people wanting to go to work on an extremely difficult day?
Because they want to work, because they believe that this is how they get out of this decadent Argentina,” she analyzed.
And he added: “I would never believe that unionism wants to overthrow a democratic government elected by 56% of the votes just over 3 months ago.
No. I could never think that.”
“73 days ago in government we had the CGT strike, picket marches... well, I have to understand that the reason is political, that there is nothing concrete.
Because everything bad that is happening to Argentina today happens under the
exclusive responsibility of the previous government
,” said Adorni.
On the other hand, he referred to the trust funds on which the Government set its sights.
“
What we are looking for is transparency
.
Audit them, but also that, from now on, the management of all State funds will always be transparent because it is the people's money.
“What we want is the most reasonable”
“One of the premises of this government was not to lie to the people.
We are not going to sweep it under the rug and lie to people.
To believe that there was an alternative to this is to not understand the Argentina of December 10.
Not having seen that the first week of December we were traveling immersed in a hyperinflationary tunnel that worsened in the second week is not understanding Argentina on December 10.
“Milei came to change Argentina and not lie,” he added.
Finally, he spoke specifically about the President and supported his figure.
“
Milei doesn't fight with everyone
.
"She gives her opinion on certain situations and things that bother her and that do not fit within her morals, his ethics and what he wants for Argentina, she reacts."
"Why do they ask the President to be what he is not?" Adorni concluded, and anticipated that Milei "on March 1 he is going to speak in Congress."
