Terror attack on Highway 1: one person was killed and 8 were wounded by gunfire near Ma'a Adumim/according to Section 27 A of the Copyright Law, documentation of MDA operations
The attack that happened this morning (Thursday) on Route 1 on the way to Jerusalem was carried out by a squad of terrorists who arrived at the scene in two vehicles armed with several weapons.
The terrorists unloaded from the vehicles, fired at the civilians and were neutralized within a few minutes.

The attack on Highway 1 - step by step
At approximately 7:24 the three terrorists identified the traffic jam that had formed on Route 1 on the way to Jerusalem
One of them got out of the vehicle and started shooting at the vehicles standing in the busy traffic
The other two terrorists drove through the curb and between the cars, unloaded as well - and opened fire at other vehicles
Civilians and security forces neutralized two terrorists at the scene, while one terrorist managed to escape
A few minutes later, the third terrorist was located and neutralized

In the shooting attack, one person was killed and eight others were injured, two of them seriously.
Many forces were called to the scene.
