Visiting them in spring, before the high tourist season, has many advantages: more affordable prices, fewer tourists and mild temperatures far from those observed in the heart of summer. These destinations, accessible by plane, are also accessible by train and boat for travelers concerned about their carbon footprint and ready to take their time. While winter is almost coming to an end, the arrival of sunny days invites us to get closer to the coasts of Spain, Italy or Croatia.

The (many) bridges in May 2024 are obviously an opportunity, but with the risk of meeting people.

White sand and turquoise water: Corsican beaches have nothing to envy of the islands at the end of the world.

Often compared, rightly, to those of exotic destinations, they are literally “eye-popping”.

All different, they have two essential ingredients in common: white sand and turquoise waters.

More mountains than sea?

Corsica can also be explored from the inside along numerous hiking trails that can be done over a day or several days.

Crossing high-altitude lakes, perched or abandoned villages, they always display the Mediterranean as a backdrop.

Easter celebrations are a highlight for Spaniards.

Throughout Holy Week, which takes place from March 24 to 31, 2024, crowds invade the streets of Spain, a country which remains the second most visited in the world thanks to its tourist

We wander from town to town to appreciate the diversity of atmospheres, the variety of processions always steeped in tradition, charged with popular fervor.

The islands, the best known of which are La Maddalena, Caprera, Spargi, Budelli and Razzoli, are covered with magnificent maquis and bordered by jagged granite coasts, sculpted by wind and water.

In Greece, Crete city side and sea side

Modern, noisy... the city retains its charm as long as you take the time to discover it.

More than an island, a chain of mountains emerging from the sea: this is the first impression given by the island of Crete, in Greece, as its majestic mountains attract the eye when approached by plane or boat.

To visit Crete from the East and the interior, the capital Heraklion, which hosts the island's main airport, is the main departure point from France, ahead of Chania which opens up the western part. .

Dominated by the imposing Mount Psiloritis where Zeus is said to have been raised by a goat, the center of the island is distinguished by the famous archaeological site of Knossos and its vineyards, but also, in the very south, the beach of Matala facing the Sea of Libya.
