A 30-year-old man from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district lost his life in his small white car, while his 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured and rescued from the wreckage.

A 30-year-old died yesterday in an accident involving four cars on the B2 near Hechendorf.

Other people were seriously injured.

Now the police have new information about what happened in the accident.

As reported, there was a fatal traffic accident on the B2 near Hechendorf on Thursday around 6:50 a.m.

When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they saw a terrible scene.

A total of four vehicles were involved.

First details: Four vehicles involved in a serious accident

According to the current state of knowledge, according to the police, a woman from the Munich district was driving her car, Vito, towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GAP) and, for reasons unknown, crossed into the oncoming lane.

There she hit her car, a VW Tiguan, which was driven by a 57-year-old man from the GAP district and was traveling towards Murnau.

This caused the Tiguan to skid and in turn collided with a Touareg car that was traveling in the direction of GAP and was driven by a 54-year-old man from the GAP district.

After contact with the Tiguan, the woman's Vito drove head-on into the Toyota of a 30-year-old man from the GAP district who was on the way to Weilheim with an 18-year-old.

The Vito skidded and came to a stop on the road towards Murnau.

The Toyota, however, was thrown over the guardrail and came to a stop on the meadow in a ditch towards GAP.

The driver of the Toyota died at the scene of the accident, the driver of the Vito was taken to the hospital in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

According to police, her life is now believed to be out of danger.

The 18-year-old passenger of the Toyota was taken to the Murnau accident clinic with serious injuries.

The driver of the Touareg and his passenger were also treated for moderate injuries at the Murnau accident clinic.

The driver of the Tiguan was also moderately injured and was taken to Murnau Hospital.
