Changing diapers was yesterday!
More and more clubs are discovering a new target group: mothers.
There are many events coming up in Augsburg in March.
Organizers reveal what makes the parties so special.
Augsburg – Events called “Mom Club”, “Mums Night Out” or “Mama Disco” are on the rise in many cities.
As the Augsburger Allgemeine reports, this is also the case in the Fuggerstadt.
Instead of changing diapers and being a parent constantly within the four walls of their home, mothers are increasingly drawn to the dance floor.
The concept “Mama goes dancing,” as
augsburger- Allgemeine.de
reports, was invented by two mothers from Wuppertal and has since developed into a franchise.
The event will also take place in Augsburg for the first time on February 24th, organized by Sophia Kubitz from Munich.
The celebration will take place in the canteen in Augsburg.
A welcome change for Niklas Schäufele.
He is responsible for events at the canteen and brought “Mama Goes Dancing” to Augsburg.
Why?
He gave a simple answer to this in the Augsburger Allgemeine: “We clubs also have to think about what new things we can do.”
Already cult in many cities: The party series “Mama goes dancing” is now also arriving in many Augsburg clubs.

Augsburg clubs discover new trend: “An after-care party by moms for moms”
What exactly does a party with just moms look like?
For the average club-goer, it's much earlier than usual.
“Mama goes dancing” starts in the canteen at 8 p.m. and ends three hours later at around 11 p.m.
“An after-care party by moms for moms.
Take advantage of your child's first phase of deep sleep and really dance with us again," says the club operator, announcing the event.
on his homepage.
In addition to the early start and the short time span, the event has other special features.
The party is primarily for mothers - so the audience is almost exclusively female, Kubitz explains to the Augsburger Allgemeine.
You can also notice this in the atmosphere.
Great every time: “The dance floor is full from 8 p.m.
You can really feel that everyone has come to dance.
That’s what it’s about, dancing and having fun,” says Kubitz in an interview with the Augsburger Allgemeine.

After the birth of her own child: DJane founded the “Mums night out” event
An image that Cat Ruskowski from Augsburg could also convey.
“The atmosphere is really completely different than what I have otherwise experienced.
The club operators also say that after every celebration,” says Ruskowski to the Augsburger Allgemeine.
As the newspaper reports, she has been performing as a DJ in clubs for six years and has had a child of her own for a good year now.

Together with her partner Matze Schweigert, she then launched the “Mums night out”, an event that will take place again at the Barfly on March 8th.
The celebration there also starts at 8 p.m., but is not supposed to end until 2 a.m.
The celebration is intended to appeal not only to mothers, but also to a queer audience, Ruskowski told the Augsburger Allgemeine.
A colorful program is planned for the evening.
Space for mothers and their living situation
Ruskowski explains why separate celebrations are offered for mothers: “Because dancing and partying are fun and self-care.” The birth of a child changes a lot - mothers often have to find themselves anew.
Parties like “Mama goes dancing” or “Mums night out” can help for a simple reason: “Because they offer a space almost exclusively for mothers, where everyone knows your everyday life and feels the same way you do,” she explains to the Augsburger general.
