An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology at 10.23 am in the southern Adriatic.
The earthquake was located at a depth of 18 kilometers, off the Gargano coast, roughly at an equivalent distance from the Croatian coast.
The shock would also have been felt in Puglia, in particular in the north of Bari and in the Foggia area.
At the moment there is no damage reported.
