A 15-year-old boy was murdered today (Friday) in a shooting incident in Barhat.
A 26-year-old woman who was with him was run over, and seriously injured by the impact of the vehicle.
She was referred to Soroka Hospital suffering from a multi-system injury.
According to the suspicion, the background to the incident is a criminal dispute between families.
"The two injured were brought to us near the entrance to neighborhood 13 when the young man who suffered a penetrating injury was unconscious and the woman who suffered a multi-system injury was in a vague state of consciousness," said the senior medics at the MDA, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Garboa and Malek Abu Arara said: "We immediately began life-saving medical treatment And we evacuated them to the hospital. During the evacuation, we performed resuscitation operations on a young man who was fatally injured."
