“Hartz und cordial” Maik and partner Janette are shocked: their account is blocked!

Now they are trying everything to get their money.

The documentary soap “Hartz und Herzen” on RTLZWEI offers an insight into the lives of people who live in socially disadvantaged areas.

The cameras accompany, among other things, the residents of the problem district of Rostock Groß Klein and show their often difficult everyday life.

Many of the people struggle with financial worries, including the couple Maik and Janette.

In one of the new episodes they experience a big shock when their account is suddenly blocked.

MANNHEIM24 reports:

Account blocked for the “Hartz and warm” couple: Maik and Janette in a panic – “they would be so screwed”

Maik and Janette, like many of the other “Hartz and warm” darlings, are struggling with financial worries.

Maik cannot work due to his epilepsy and is dependent on citizens' benefits.

He has been married to his wife Janette for 14 years and she also receives basic security.

Together the two live on 700 euros a month.

Janette's account has now been unexpectedly blocked due to excessive spending.

That's why the Rostock couple is hectic.

If Janette's money cannot be paid out, the two of them will have to manage the month with just 350 euros.

What would that mean?

“We would be screwed,” says Maik.

“Hartz and cordial” Maik and Janette want to open a new account - but are rejected by the bank

The Rostock resident explains that no one would lend them any money.

This means they couldn't even pay for electricity or insurance.

In order to prevent this, the couple would like to open a new account and then clarify with the social welfare office that the basic security benefit would be transferred to the new account.

At the first attempt, the “Hartz und cordial” stars had no luck, but things worked out at Postbank: Janette was allowed to open a new account here for five euros.

This means she can have her basic security transferred from the social welfare office.

Big relief for the couple!

“Hartz and cordial” in Rostock – Maik and Janette are grateful for citizens’ money

However, one concern remains: the debts and the Schufa entry from the old account still remain.

Nevertheless, Janette and Maik are very grateful for the help they receive from the state.

“It’s a good thing that we get Hartz IV, it doesn’t exist in other countries,” explains Maik.

Speaking of grateful, “Hartz und cordial” star Pascal from Mannheim is also grateful – albeit to his TikTok followers.

In the past, Maik and Janette have often had to face difficult challenges: When their house is broken into, “Hartz und cordial” Maik struggles with severe anxiety.
