A 24-year-old attacked and injured two police officers on Wednesday (February 21).

Originally, the officers were only called to resolve a dispute.

Munich - He completely freaked out and then attacked police officers - they needed support from colleagues until they had the 24-year-old under control.

This is reported by the Munich police.

It all started relatively harmlessly: on Wednesday (February 21st), passers-by called the officers to Forstenried to mediate a dispute.

The Munich police officers were originally called to Forstenried because of an argument

At around 6 p.m., the officers met the parties in the dispute: a 24-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman.

It is not completely clear why the two argued; there may have been a difference of opinion due to their respective participation in traffic, according to the police.

When the argument seemed to have been resolved, the 24-year-old shouted at the 48-year-old and tried to stop her from getting into her car.

When a 23-year-old police officer stood in his way, the 24-year-old pushed her aside.

Police officers call for reinforcements to get Munich residents under control

Another police officer (27) was finally able to stop the 24-year-old, who then began throwing his fists at the police officer - he hit him several times in the head and upper body.

The two fell to the ground - the officer tried to get the 24-year-old under control while he kicked violently.

Suddenly the attacker closed his eyes and appeared to be unresponsive.

The police officer then released his grip - but he and his colleague were suddenly shouted at and insulted by the 24-year-old.

The 24-year-old pulled the police officer's hair and started fighting again.

Only after additional patrols arrived could the 24-year-old be handcuffed.

Both police officers suffered various abrasions to their faces, hands and knees.

The officer's hair was also torn out.

The police are now investigating charges of grievous bodily harm, assault on police officers and insults.
