EU gas stocks remain just above 2023 levels this year with the exception of Italy.
As of February 21st, EU storage was at 64.7% at 737 TWh against the 64% at 718.25 TWh recorded on February 20, 2023. On the contrary, Italy is today at 59.2% at 116.61 TWh against the 63.49% to 122.82 TWh last year.
Germany remains just above 2023 levels, with 71.15% at 181.3 TWh against the previous 71.56% at 176.47 TWh, which increased its storage capacity, recording a lower percentage with a value absolutesuperior.
France is just below 2023 levels, today at 48.37% at 64.98 TWh versus 48.75% at 65.12 TWh a year ago.
