An excavator damaged a power line, causing a power outage in parts of Weilheim and Wielenbach.

There is currently a power outage in parts of Weilheim and Wielenbach.

According to Bayernwerk, around 3,000 households are affected.

Weilheim - As a press spokeswoman explained when asked by the local newspaper, an excavator damaged a power line while working at around 2:14 p.m.

As a result, around 3,000 households are currently without electricity.

According to the press spokeswoman, parts of Weilheim and Wielenbach are affected - including the publishing house of the Weilheimer Tagblatt.

Attempts are currently being made to restore the power supply step by step using alternative circuits.
