Police are on duty at a school.

During the shooting on Thursday in a Wuppertal high school, a teacher was probably able to persuade the alleged perpetrator to give up.
The 17-year-old put down his weapon, a folding knife with a 6 to 8 centimeter long blade, “when spoken to by a teacher,” said prosecutor Patrick Penders on Friday.
Wuppertal - After further interviews with witnesses, it is assumed that there was only this one murder weapon.
The knife was confiscated.
