Since 2019, Florian Silbereisen aka Captain Max Parger has been piloting the “ZDF dream ship” – the MS Amadea.
But now there are increasing indications that big changes are coming soon.
Mainz – Is the end of an era imminent?
Florian Silbereisen (42) took over the helm of “Das Traumschiff” from Sascha Hehn (69) in 2019.
Since then, the pop star has worn the captain's hat as Max Parger and steers the MS Amadea through the world's oceans.
However, there is always speculation as to how long he can combine filming with his elaborate ARD shows.
Now there are indications that the “ZDF dream ship” with Silbereisen could actually be sailing towards an end.
No further filming dates: “Dream Ship” planning raises questions
First of all, “Dream Ship” fans can look forward to a new episode at Easter.
There are also a few other editions coming up or still in progress.
This year you can register as an extra for two productions at
casting.de
: from June 9th to 27th for “On a Big Trip to Iceland, Spitsbergen and Norway” and from June 27th to July 15th for “The Big One Baltic Sea trip for connoisseurs”.
And then?

, the casting site confirmed that no further dates were known.
Such productions should generally be planned for the long term.
The Schlager portal also asked the cruise operator Phoenix Seereisen.
They also confirmed that there are no further dates for “Dream Ship” filming after the Baltic Sea trip.
Florian Silbereisen’s “dream ship” future: That’s what ZDF says
ZDF should have an answer to the question about the future of the “ZDF dream ship”.
However, the broadcaster remains silent.
In response to a previous request from
schlager.de
, ZDF stated that Silbereisen “will definitely be available for the planned filming until 2024”, but what happens after that is still officially up in the air.
The new answer from ZDF is simply that “we cannot provide any information about contract details”.

Over the course of its history, the “ZDF dream ship” has welcomed a lot of celebrities on board.
However, there are also some stars who are still waiting for this wish to come true.
Simone Ballack, among others, really wants to go on the “dream ship” with Florian Silbereisen.
