"I would like it - he explains to ANSA - I've thought about it, I think about it often and I would really like it to be the right time to solve the problem of Sardinian mobility".
Perhaps there is a good opportunity.
"To find a solution - argues the mayor of Cagliari - the Region cannot go alone to fight its battle. In this sense, the support of the government will be important in this fight for the rights of the Sardinians. Is the prime minister a friend? I don't I hide. The harmony and confidence with you and with other ministers can be important for working on this issue and for other sectors. Without forgetting, however, that Sardinia must also learn to grow and take on its responsibilities. There is the request phase , and that's fine. But it must also be accompanied by the ability to do what it can do on its own, for example by spending, and spending well, the resources that arrive. So that more arrive."
Continuity and discontinuity with the previous mandate: "As always happens, we must start from what has been done well and perhaps try to improve what has been done less well - underlines the gubernatorial candidate - Here, I think I can bring as a characterizing element of the my mandate is the ability to communicate with everyone. And the ability to make decisions."
From the Municipality to the Region, however, it is not exactly the same thing: "True - he admits - I think that the need to continuously make decisions has been the greatest lesson of these five years at the Municipality. But with the Region the scenario is different It is above all a question of planning, connecting territories, making the administrative machine work well.
Here, with territorial continuity I would also like to leave at the end of the mandate an extraordinary plan for Sardinia that applies to everyone. Which allows those who may come after me to not having to start from scratch every time."
Industry and energy, what Truzzu will do if he were to be elected: "I think that Sardinia cannot live on tourism and agriculture alone, which is why industry will also be important for us. In line with what the government is doing. In this sense, the lines and interventions adopted for the Ilva of Taranto are emblematic, in some way an example. There are good signs, one above all the signing of the addendum for Eurallumima. But now we expect progress also from the disputes concerning the other industries, from Syder Alloys to Portovesme".
Power?
"The crux of the issue is to have it at low prices. - he clarifies - And the best solution at the moment is to move forward with the methane backbone. The government is showing great attention, now we are just waiting for the Prime Ministerial Decree".
The opponents: what do the rivals not have that Truzzu feels they can guarantee?
"One by one? Chessa's human qualities - he replies - cannot be discussed: she is engaged in an identity battle, herself aware that she has no chance for the final race. Soru has her own vision of Sardinia, but her ideas have been already rejected. As for Alessandra Todde, it is an experiment to unite the Pd and the M5s, however it is an attempt already full of cracks, based on arguments. Thus disunited they will never be able to govern."
