Princess Estelle is already the secret weapon of the Swedish monarchy.
Today the future Queen of Sweden turns twelve years old.
Stockholm – Since she was born, Princess Estelle of Sweden (12) has been able to take part in the ups and downs of the Swedish royal family.
She accompanied her mother, Crown Princess Victoria (46), her father, Prince Daniel (50), her grandmother, Queen Silvia (79), and her grandfather, Carl XVI.
Gustaf (77) is her biggest fans and teachers in one.
But while her little brother Prince Oscar (7) can sit on the spectator bench, things will get serious for Estelle in the not too distant future.

One day, the reigning King Carl Gustaf will hand over the scepter to his daughter Victoria and then Estelle will be second in line to the throne.
Similar to Prince George (10) in Great Britain, Estelle has always known that she will one day become queen and that there is still a lot for her to learn.
With a sweet video of cross-country skiing with Oscar on snow and ice and, above all, almost without parents, the Swedish palace congratulates its future monarch on her twelfth birthday.
From an early age, Estelle was present at all important royal events, be it her grandfather's anniversary, Victoria Day, her family's big birthdays, national holidays, all sorts of inaugurations and Christmas visits to the opera.
Estelle was born sunshine; even as a child she approached people and celebrities with an open smile.

The Swedes already idolize Princess Estelle
No matter how great her natural intuition may be, as the future queen, the bright girl will not be spared an international education in foreign languages such as French and English.
She will certainly learn German with her Heidelberg grandmother and she will gradually get to know the country and its people.
As Elisabeth Tarras-Wahlberg (73), once Victoria's court marshal, told someone on Swedish TV on SVT: "You can't represent a country if you don't know how it works."

The openness of the Swedish royals benefits her.
The king's motto is forward-looking: "For Sweden - in the times", her parents take an educational approach, and with her middle-class grandmother and a former fitness trainer as her father, Estelle is in no danger of being aloof.
The royal family announced that the princess will celebrate her twelfth birthday privately with her family, and there will be many more public celebrations.
