Republicans in Congress blame President Joe Biden for the crisis at the border, and Congressman Chuck Edwards, Republican representative of North Carolina, is no exception.
He recently did so by tweeting an image of a migrant caravan on a highway supposedly on the US-Mexico border, with a photo of Biden superimposed and text that says, “I did that!”
The photo, however, is from 2018, when Republican Donald Trump was president and going through his second year in the White House.
The photo was taken on October 27 by photographer Rodrigo Abd of The Associated Press (AP) news agency, on the outskirts of the city of Arriaga, Mexico.
In it you can see members of a caravan of migrants bound for the border with the United States, after the Mexican federal police blocked their path, according to the AP.
