Everything is happening really quickly.

I saw smiling faces in front of me and others more focused.

A month later at the Lendit studio in Saint-Denis, Andri was once again the first to go during the second recording session for the blind auditions of “The Voice”.

Despite the energy displayed on stage and an audience delighted with her performance, she did not succeed in convincing Vianney, Zazie, Mika and Bigflo and Oli.

Beyond the disappointment, she knew how to keep a smile and appreciate the coaches' words at their true value.

- What feeling prevails when you finish your blind audition, do you feel like you have succeeded in your performance?

Andri.

-

Several things were racing through my head, I was still happy with myself.

With the stress, I had palpitations and breathing faster than usual, I was not at the maximum of what I could have done.

Even if there was the disappointment of not continuing the adventure, I was very happy to feel the positive energy of the public.

The coaches didn't turn around but the people in the room seemed to have a good time listening to me.

The risk when you are not selected for the blind auditions is not being broadcast on TF1...

It's important for me, it's true, but especially for those close to me.

My family always wanted to see me compete on “The Voice” and it was also a personal dream.

Not being on the show would have been a bit hard for me and I'm delighted to have this opportunity to be seen by all these viewers.

What did you learn from the assessments of “The Voice” coaches?

They took the time to talk to me and explain their choice.

Bigflo and Oli told me that I chased music and I completely agreed with them.

My breathing didn't keep up and I was a little out of breath.

Zazie told me that it lacked a little emotion and, again, I agreed.

It wasn’t a song that lent itself to emotion.

I was there to welcome their advice even though I was disappointed.

“I didn’t think at all about the possibility of being drafted by Camille Lellouche”

Andri, candidate for season 13 of “The Voice”

Why did you choose

Flamme

by Juliette Armanet for your blind audition?

She's an artist that I love, she's incredible.

At the very beginning of my castings, I proposed

The Last Day of Disco

while

Flamme

was a bigger challenge to take on in terms of rhythm.

I wanted to surpass myself and make people dance.

How did you find yourself in this casting of “The Voice”?

This happened quite naturally since the casting director came to the school where I was studying last year, the Dalida Institute.

We more or less all passed the casting, it happened naturally.

I didn't take the step of signing up for "The Voice" but I was happy to go through the different stages and be selected for the blind auditions.

I always had in the back of my mind the idea of having this type of experience but I didn't know when.

I seized the opportunity.

If you had the choice between all the coaches on “The Voice”, who would you have preferred?

It's difficult, it would have been motivated by their assessments of the moment.

I really like Vianney just as I love Bigflo and Oli who come from Toulouse like me.

I went to the Conservatory there.

Each coach could have brought me something, they are all excellent.

Did you know that Camille Lellouche was behind the scenes with this ability to draft talents not selected at blind auditions?

Yes, production had warned us but, at the time, I didn't think about it at all.

It would have been a huge surprise if she had come to meet me because it had completely slipped my mind.

She's an artist that I adore.

“It was a little emotionally complicated to get over “The Voice””

Andri, candidate for season 13 of “The Voice”

What place does music occupy in your life?

A very big place, I try to do just that and make a living from it.

For the moment, this is not yet the case, I have to do small jobs on the side: I do babysitting, catering, cleaning in private homes or Airbnbs... But it's starting To come, I give singing lessons and I do some concerts in bars and restaurants in Paris.

You are releasing a single called

Good Morning

, what does it say?

It's the first song I composed, I'm delighted that this project is coming to fruition.

I wrote it after seeing the film

The Hold

when I was 18 and it addresses the very serious subject of domestic violence.

I was very touched because at that time in high school I was experiencing a relationship that was of the order of psychological influence.

My vision of feminism was opened by discovering this film.

It is not normal that this violence existed and still exists.

We don't talk about it enough.

Some talents failed in “The Voice” return to try their luck several years later.

Is this something you are considering?

For the moment no because it's a lot of pressure.

I am not closing the door to this possibility but, for the moment, I am focusing on my personal compositions.

“The Voice” is a wonderful experience, the production team is lovely with the artists.

A return in two or three years, why not.

Emotionally, is it difficult to recover from this experience of “The Voice”?

It was a bit complicated yes.

Fortunately I had the project of my single

Good Morning

and that of my five-track EP to catch up with me.

I had gone through four or five castings to get there, it's a long road and it ends very quickly.

It’s obviously disappointing.

It was especially difficult for my family, my father took my elimination badly, he was very sad.
