In Paris, artificial floral decorations have been flourishing on the facades of cafes, restaurants and shops since Covid.
They are enjoying tremendous success with merchants who see the number of visitors to their establishments jump and their turnover increase with it.
But the multiplication of these flowery facades, boosted by photos published on Instagram, is not to the taste of Paris town hall.
A charter aimed at supervising them is under study.
