The government is to restore the crime of employing illicit workers in tenders amid a spate of fatal workplace accidents that last week saw five workers die a Florence building site, Labor Minister Marina Calderone said Saturday.
She said the decriminalization of this offence, in 2016, "has not led to results in terms of combating irregularities".
