Who is your
hate sex
?
Until last weekend I had never been asked this question.
But, as some colleagues explained to me, it is a common question in trusted circles and consists of choosing that person you hate with whom you would have sex.
What surprised me is that, among the “hateful fuckables” in our gang, the politicians won by an overwhelming majority.
In fact, according to my colleagues' sexual observatory, Papi Abascal would stand out as
hate sex
among a certain homosexual public who, although they hate the politician, would sleep with him without thinking about it.
Isabel Díaz Ayuso would also be on the
hate sex
podium , desired by both men and women who hate her.
And, of course, Pedro Sánchez would be another great “fuckable for being detestable.”
Logical, if we take into account the passionate hatred that his enemies profess for him.
It is worth specifying that we are not talking here about the old “erotics of power” but about a murkier emotion: that of the sexual submission of the enemy.
And that seemed to me to be the true thermometer of the country.
So much so that I think it should be a new question in any CIS survey, since the intention to
hate sex
would say more about us than the intention to vote.
However, it is an international phenomenon.
Thus, in the report
The mystery of feeling sexually attracted to someone you don't like
, recently published in this newspaper, a reader confessed in the comments section about her relationship with Boris Johnson.
“Although he seemed disheveled and I actually hate him, he seems like a man he could easily have another child with!”

Is there a right-wing sex and a left-wing sex?
Well, the first reflection that political
hate sex
deserves is how close the language of love passion is to that of war.
And how closely we associate violence with passion and this with politics.
Desire is thus “conquest”, “possession”, “submission”, “surrender”, “domination”.
To the point that, when we talk about seducing, we could be thinking about reducing.
Because how do we distinguish hate from love?
It is very difficult, since in their forms they are two very close connections.
Perhaps the opposite of love would be indifference, instead of hate.
What do, for example, all those people who claim that Pedro Sánchez is a “despicable pimp” mean?
Isn't it typical of a certain exhibitionist right to show off everything he has?
What if in political hatred there was a form of recognition?
And, if so, what would our
political
hate sex say about us?
And, at the same time, what would a good position in the hate sex ranking say
about
a
politician
?
It could be that the speech of certain politicians reaches citizens in a particularly aggressive way and that, when they cannot reduce them at the polls, the electorate responds with fantasies of sexual violence to certain forms of political violence.
For my part, I confess that I have found the antidote to my political
hate sex
: dreaming of tenderly caressing that person.
The image has taken away my desire for
hate
and
sex
.
And I share it with the recommendation that politicians in turn be encouraged to be more tender with their opponents.
Hate
never gave good
sex
and
even less good politics.
