Einav Tsengauker, mother of Matan Tsengauker, who was kidnapped in Gaza, at a demonstration in Kaplan/Niv Aharonson
Demonstrations against the government were held this evening (Saturday) in a series of centers across the country, but the main one was on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv.
Einav Tsengauker, the mother of the abducted Matan Tsengauker, confronted the horsemen who arrived at the scene and prevented the dispersal of the gathering.
"Here comes the horse," said Einav to the horsemen.
"I'm Matan's mother, kidnapped. Don't get any closer. Return now - all of them."
After the police officers heard that Einav was from the families of the abductees, they turned back and walked away from her.
The police declared that the demonstration on Kaplan Street was illegal, and arrested at least 20 of the protesters on the spot.
"A group of protesters, who do not belong to the families of the abductees, decided to march to Kaplan Street and began to break the order, while blocking the road," it said.
"Following the blockades and violations of order, a police officer announced that the demonstration was illegal and that they should clear the road, in light of the continued blockade of the axis and that they had not obeyed the instructions.
During the evacuation of the protesters, the police arrested 5 suspects for violating public order.
We call on all participants to obey the police officers' instructions and avoid unnecessary confrontations."

Free in our country - the headquarters of the struggle, criticized the conduct of the police at the Kaplan intersection this evening and blamed the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir for the chain of events.
"We strongly condemn the disproportionate violence that the police used this evening against protesters demanding elections now.
"In the spirit of the minister of the government of destruction, the police operated from Makhzait and Farish in a direct formation against citizens who were standing on sidewalks and did not resort to any violence," the struggle headquarters continued.
"The voice of the citizens of Israel demanding to replace the failed leadership in the country's history will not be silenced, it will only grow stronger."

After the Israeli delegation returned from the Paris summit to allow a transition to detailed negotiations on an agreement to release hostages, some of the details that included the updated American outline were revealed.
The main points include the release of several hundred Palestinian prisoners, the initial return of Palestinian citizens to the north of the Gaza Strip and reaching a total of six weeks of ceasefire.
The American outline also includes a significant increase in the amount of humanitarian aid that enters the Gaza Strip.
The next stages of the deal dealing with the release of the soldiers and the return of the bodies remain only general as in the previous outline.

The updated US outline:
The release of several hundred Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the release of 35-40 Israeli abductees, including civilian women, female soldiers, men over 50 and abductees in serious medical condition.
The number of prisoners that will be released for each of the female soldiers will be higher than for the other abductees that will be released at this stage and will also include "heavier" prisoners.
For each abductee who is released, Israel will agree to a day of ceasefire, when in total in the first phase of the deal it will be possible to reach a six-week ceasefire.
The American proposal includes an initial and limited return of Palestinian citizens to the northern Gaza Strip from the first stage of implementing the deal, under conditions to be defined later in the negotiations.
"Only a combination of military pressure and firm negotiations will lead to the release of our abductees."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu/Flash 90, Yonatan Zindel
"We are working to obtain another outline for the release of our hostages, as well as the completion of the elimination of the Hamas battalions in Rafah," Netanyahu said.
"That is why I sent a delegation to Paris and tonight we will discuss the next steps in the negotiations, and therefore at the beginning of the week I will convene the cabinet to approve the operational plans for action in Rafah, including the evacuation of the civilian population from there.
Only a combination of military pressure and firm negotiations will lead to the release of our hostages, the elimination of Hamas and the achievement of all the war's goals."
