Now the singer's death has become official.
Mallorca - Tina Rainford discovered the stage for herself at the age of five - she became really famous in the hit industry in the 70s at the latest when she produced the song "Silver Bird" together with her childhood friend Drafi Deutscher († 2006).
But now there is sad news from the musician: she died at the age of 77.

Singer Tina Rainford has died at the age of 77.
Her husband announced this today,” the radio station said in a
post.
However, there is currently no further information about the cause of death.
Many fans used your post to express their condolences to her husband and publicly mourn Tina Rainford.
“You live on in your songs, so rest in peace, with the certainty that you have brought joy to many people,” says a fan in beautiful words.

You were a really great, lovely singer.

Tina Rainford also celebrated her breakthrough in America with “Silver Bird”.
Early in her career, Tina Rainford won a talent competition with Drafi Deutscher on the occasion of the radio exhibition in Berlin - and then worked with him again and again.
It wasn't until 1976 that the two of them had their big hit with “Silver Bird”.
The song was also recorded in English and reached number 25 on the country charts in the USA.
In total, the song was sold millions of times.

The musician also appeared on stage with her first husband Peter Rainford in the 1960s.
However, Tina Rainford had now retired from the music industry and was living in Mallorca with her second husband Ralph Hedley.
